Meet the people who coach, challenge, and support you as you become stronger, more capable, and more consistent.

We help people BECOME people who train.

The Experience

What You Can Expect From Every Coach

Different coaching styles. One shared standard.

  1. We meet you where you are.

No judgment and no ego. We start with the person in front of us and help you take the right next step.

  2. We coach movement before intensity.

We help you move with control and confidence, then progress the challenge with purpose.

  3. We learn your name.

We get to know your goals, your experience, and how to coach you best.

  4. We notice progress.

Small wins matter. We help you recognize them, build on them, and keep moving forward.

  5. We help you become someone who trains for life.

This is bigger than a short-term challenge. We are helping you build a practice that lasts.

In 2008, Luis co-founded Funktional Fitness with Jeremy Jones, creating the foundation for what would eventually become The Collective. Twelve years as a competitive gymnast means Emma has been through her own share of injuries. Along the way, she fell in love with the rehab process that helped her return to the mat. That path led her to two years working in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic, where she learned firsthand how to build trust with people at their most vulnerable and coach them toward progress one step at a time.

Emma brings that same patience and eye for movement quality into the gym, helping members train smart, build confidence, and work with intention. Her gymnastics background built a strong foundation in mobility and body awareness, and it shows in how she coaches, always with an eye toward strength that holds up for the long haul.

More than anything, Emma wants to help people realize what they are truly capable of. She is here to empower members to chase their goals and build the toolbox to handle whatever life throws at them along the way. She also loves nothing more than a member who asks why. Ask away. She is here for it.
