THE COLLECTIVE FAQ · GILBERT, ARIZONA

QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED.

Starting something new should not feel complicated. Find clear answers about getting started, training, memberships, booking, HYROX, Private Coaching, Recovery, and visiting The Collective.

NEW TO THE COLLECTIVE

STARTING SHOULD FEEL SIMPLE.

You do not need to know exactly what class, membership, or training path is right for you before you begin. We will help you choose.

What is The Collective?

The Collective is Gilbert’s School of Fitness — a coaching-led fitness studio inside Epicenter at Agritopia in Gilbert, Arizona. Strength and Conditioning form the foundation of the training system, supported by Ride, Mat Pilates, Recovery, Private Coaching, and dedicated HYROX training.

I am new. Where should I start?

Start with your first session. Tell us what you want to work on, and our team will help you choose the experience that makes the most sense for your goals, training history, and comfort level.

Can I try The Collective before choosing a membership?

Yes. New guests can begin with a free first session so you can experience the coaching, see the studio, and understand how The Collective works before choosing a membership.

BOOK MY FIRST SESSION →
Do I need to be fit or experienced before I start?

No. You do not need to already be in shape or know the movements before you begin. Sessions are coached, and coaches provide guidance and appropriate options for different experience levels.

Is The Collective beginner-friendly?

Yes. Beginners are coached from day one. We explain movements, provide options, and help you build confidence instead of expecting you to figure everything out on your own.

What if I have an injury, limitation, or movement concern?

Tell your coach before your session. Coaches can provide appropriate exercise options and modifications when possible. If you have a medical restriction or are returning from an injury, follow the guidance of your healthcare professional and share those recommendations with your coach.

How is The Collective different from a traditional gym?

The Collective is built around coaching rather than access to equipment alone. Members train inside a structured system with progressive programming, multiple ways to train, purposeful recovery, accountability, and a community where coaches know the people they are coaching.

ONE CONNECTED SYSTEM

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO TRAIN.

Different training experiences serve different purposes. You can use them individually or combine them around your goals and schedule.

What is Strength and Conditioning at The Collective?

Strength and Conditioning is the foundation of The Collective training system. Coached programming uses progressive training to help members build strength, muscle, work capacity, movement quality, and confidence over time.

What is Ride?

EXPLORE RIDE →
What is Mat Pilates?

Mat Pilates is a coached, low-impact training experience focused on core strength, posture, stability, control, mobility, and body awareness. Classes are designed for beginners and experienced members alike.

What Recovery services does The Collective offer?

The Recovery room includes two cold plunges, a traditional high-heat sauna, and red light therapy. Recovery can be used as part of your regular training routine or simply as intentional time to reset.

EXPLORE RECOVERY →
Can I combine Strength, Ride, Mat Pilates, and Recovery?

Yes. That is one of the advantages of The Collective. Strength builds the foundation, Ride develops endurance, Mat Pilates improves control and stability, and Recovery gives you another tool for staying consistent. Your week can be built around the combination that best supports your goals.

Do I have to do every type of training?

No. The Collective gives you options, not requirements. Some members focus primarily on Strength and Conditioning while others build a week that includes Ride, Mat Pilates, or Recovery. The goal is to create a routine you can consistently maintain.
